Frenchman Bay Ride
The usual amount of riders turned out for the afternoon ride
and BBQ to Frenchmans Bay. Funny how there’s always less on this
ride than the morning ones that we have. Maybe its too close to
Christmas.
But it was a nice fine afternoon for the dozen or so riders to
head out to Elleker where Ronnie and Antoinet were waiting, the
ice creams went down well.
We then has a lovely ride to Frenchmans Bay via all the back
roads, including the Elleker - Grassmere Road and Robinson and
Home Roads.
Unfortunately my ‘64 BMW started firing on one cylinder on the
way out, so I returned home and grabbed another bike to rejoin
the others at Frenchmans, passing Mike and Garry on their way
home.
The BBQ’s were working which was a nice surprise, so sausages
were cooked and a celebratory beer drunk before it was time to
head home.
