Walpole Ride

Father’s Day - what a great present, go for a ride dad. Once again brilliant weather for a ride along some magic back roads to Walpole.

First stop Bow River Store, where we caught up with Ronnie, Antoinet and Rob, on his beautiful Laverda.

There was a little bit of confusion as to where the turning is to North Walpole Road so some of the group went a shorter way. Club rides are sometimes “Magical Mystery Tours”. We all eventually met up on the Coalmine Beach Peninsular.

We went to a different BBQ area this time, and it was beautiful, right down on the estuary. Great facilities, funny how Walpole BBQ’s always work and Albany is hit and miss.

Before long it was time to head for home, a most enjoyable day. It was good to see Claude back in the fold and watching Arthur’s Ducati Darmah is always a pleasure. See you all next time.
