Chapter One
Sickness
and Disease - How it Began.
Sickness
and disease came through sin in the first place.
(Catechism of the Catholic Church. 1505/440). Sin
came into the world in the beginning through Adam after he
believed Satan's lies. With that lie came sin and every
degree of filth, fear and death. Every sickness and disease
is a degree of death because it robs us of life and, if we
get sick enough, we die. From the very beginning Satan was
on the scene to lie, to kill and to steal God's gifts from
man. No sooner than God had spoken the Word, Satan was ready
to rob Adam and Eve of God's abundance and purpose for their
lives.
The
Genesis.
God
had made the heavens and the earth and all that was in them
and his final crowning glory was to create Adam. It did not
take Satan's hatred of God very long to strike deeply at
God's most cherished creation - man!
"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them
have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the
air, and the cattle, and over all the wild animals and all
the creatures that crawl upon the ground. 'God created man
in his image, in the divine image he created him, male and
female he created them.' God blessed them saying, 'Be
fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.'."
(Genesis 1:26-28)
Of all the things that God had created on the
face of the earth, nothing other than man was in his divine
image and likeness. This showed how much love and respect
God had for this most beautiful of all his creatures. God
gave Adam total authority over his creation and blessed him
with all that he could ever need to succeed. God had even
prepared a very special place for him called the Garden of
Eden.
This must have been a very beautiful place, since God
himself had chosen it from all the earth as a special gift
to Adam and Eve. God had placed everything there that could
possibly be needed to sustain their lives in abundance. This
included the tree of life in the middle of the garden along
with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
(Genesis 2:8-9)
The Divine
Instruction.
Before
the creation of Eve, God gave Adam this order: "You are free
to eat from any of the trees of the garden except the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil. From that tree you shall
not eat; the moment you eat from it you are surely doomed to
die." (Genesis 2:16-17). This is a very important
fact because Adam had received this instruction from God
before the creation of Eve. God had given Adam dominion over
all the earth and it was his responsibility to care for it.
It was also Adam's responsibility to instruct Eve in what
God had said regarding the trees in the centre of the
garden.
Satan enters
the picture.
Because
Eve was not present when God gave his instructions to Adam,
the Devil (who was there at the time), took advantage of the
situation and approached Eve regarding the trees. He
carefully spoke to her of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil without mentioning the tree of life at all. This
was a very subtle deflection to confuse Eve and get her
off-guard.
Once Satan had diverted Eve's attention from the tree
of life, he focused her attention on the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. Then he began to twist the truth
in an insidious manner. He asked her a distorted question
that sounded accurate: "Did God really tell you not to eat
from any of the trees in the garden?" This was to instil
doubt about what was actually said.
To grasp the nefarious nature of this question we
need to refer back to what God did say, which was: "You are
free to eat of any of the trees of the garden except the
tree of the knowledge of good and evil. From that tree you
shall not eat; for the moment you eat from it you are surely
doomed to die."
Eve was now confused. She answered the Devil,
misquoting God, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the
garden; it is only about the fruit of the tree in the middle
of the garden that God said, 'You shall not eat it or even
touch it, lest you die.'." Notice that Eve did not
differentiate between the two different trees in the middle
of the garden. As well, God said nothing about touching it.
Satan, taking advantage, jumped immediately to calling God a
liar. "You certainly will not die!" In the very next breath
he insinuated that God was keeping something from her. "No,
God knows well that the moment you eat of it your eyes will
be opened and you will be like gods who know what is good
and what is evil."
There are two words of which Satan took complete
advantage. They are the words, "die" and evil." Why? Because
they had neither known nor experienced evil as of then.
Neither had there been death. These were foreign words and
concepts to Eve, so Satan took advantage of them to cause
doubt about what she thought she understood about God. This
argument seemed to make sense to Eve and she swallowed it,
hook, line and sinker!
Notice also Satan said that they would be like gods.
What gall! They were already like gods because they were
created in the divine image! Also notice that Satan's
greatest deception was the idea that they would know good
and evil. First of all, they already knew good; what Satan
was offering was only the evil. And that was exactly what
they received: the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil, was evil! Satan's tactic was not to cause
them to hate God, but to cause them to forget him, and this
is still his major tactic today. We find that lapsed
Christians do not hate God so much as they have forgotten
about him. Other things which exclude God have become a
priority in their lives, so Satan has them just where he
wants them.
Sin,
sickness and death enter in.
Eve
talked Adam into following her example. It was at that
moment that sin, and all the powers of evil, flooded into
the world and, with them, sickness, disease and death! Satan
gained dominion of the earth because Adam relinquished his
authority. Satan then became the god of this world legally
and, with him, all the filth of his dark kingdom.
You might wonder why it was Adam's and not Eve's sin
that brought this about? Genesis Chapter 3:6 says, "and she
gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.".
Adam was with Eve whilst the Devil was beguiling her and he
did nothing about it! God had given Adam the "order" and
Adam could have taken authority over Satan at any time, but
he didn't! Adam did not protect his wife and accepted the
lie, rather than hold to the truth of the Word of God.
Adam and Eve began to experience fear for the first
time (Genesis 3:10), and the first thing they feared was God
himself. God did not teach them fear, nor does he teach it
to you or me. All fear is related to punishment and death,
and fear is the opposite of faith! It is clear that sickness
and disease came through sin in the first place as the
Catholic Catechism says, and all sickness is a degree of
death.
The bondage of
a false cross.
It
is true to say that any form of sickness, infirmity or
disease can bring us closer to God because of our great
need. But that does not mean we must accept it as fate and
live in it. It is not what Jesus meant when he said, "Take
up your cross and follow me.". He did not teach that
sickness, disease and infirmity were so good for your souls,
or that you should simply carry them as a cross.
This kind of un-scriptural teaching has bound
millions in hopelessness for centuries with its doctrine of
fate, rather than faith. It is time this false teaching was
broken once and for all! To take up your cross means to take
up the Gospel, not your sickness and disease. If sickness
and disease are good for you, do not ask your doctor to cure
you. Do not receive prayer for healing if it is better to
stay sick; why rob yourself?
If this sounds heartless, let me appeal to common
sense. Let's suppose you went to your doctor knowing that he
had the means to help you, but instead he said to you, "I am
not going to treat you because I believe this is good for
your soul; go now and carry it with patience". What would
you think of that doctor? Can you imagine what you would
feel if that doctor said the same thing about your sick
child? How is it that we can possibly believe that Jesus,
the Divine Physician, could do such a heartless, cruel
thing? I cannot find any evidence in Holy Scripture to
support such an incredulous attitude, and yet many think
this way and remain in bondage.
I am not advocating that we should not use medicine
or see a doctor. I am saying that we should not leave God
out of the picture until the last resort. We should go to
him first! Believe on his Word that he will respond
positively to us and then take whatever sensible measures
are required, persevering in faith until healing comes.
Unbelief is sin! So do not let Satan rob you as he
did Adam, otherwise you will be carrying a false cross: a
cross that will bring you under the yoke of bondage and
oppression, one which has the ability to kill you
mercilessly. It is a cross that does not have the power to
save you. What then is the answer to sin, sickness, disease,
oppression, death and the blindness caused by the sight that
Adam and Eve received? How do you receive salvation and
healing? Well, dear reader, there is some Good News.
Chapter
Two
Enter,
Jesus of Nazareth.
When
Jesus began his earthly ministry after his baptism by John
the Baptist in the River Jordan, he returned to Galilee in
the power of the Holy Spirit. He entered the synagogue in
Nazareth as he had been doing all his life except that this
day it was very different; it was not what the people who
knew him expected to hear from Jesus, the carpenter's
son.
The Great
Jubilee declaration.
He
stood up to read and was given the Scroll of the Prophet,
Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the passage which
read, "The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he
has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has
sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of
sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to
proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord." He handed
the scroll back to the attendant and sat down.
It was not the first time they had heard this passage
read. Jesus must have read this Scripture many times in that
synagogue before then, and yet there was something very
different about it that day in Nazareth... >>>

Doença
e enfermidade - como tudo começou
A enfermidade
não é mais do que uma
consequência do pecado. (Catecismo da
Igreja Católica, 1505/440)
No princípio, o pecado apareceu no mundo
através de Adão, depois de ele
acreditar nas mentiras de Satanás. Com
aquela mentira, veio o pecado e todos os graus de
imundície, medo, e morte. Toda a
doença e enfermidade são um grau de
morte, porque nos roubam a vida e, se nos tornarmos
suficientemente doentes, morreremos. Logo desde o
início, Satanás entrou em cena para
mentir, matar, e roubar ao homem as dádivas
de Deus. Logo que Deus proferiu a Palavra,
Satanás estava pronto para roubar a
Adão e Eva a abundância e o objectivo
dados por Deus às suas vidas.

O GÉNESIS
Deus havia feito os
céus, a terra, e tudo o que havia neles, e a
coroaçã final da Sua glória foi a
criação de Adão. Não demorou
muito para que o ódio de Satanás contra Deus
atingisse profundamente a mais estimada
criação de Deus - o homem!
"'Façamos o homem à nossa imagem e
semelhança. Que ele reine sobre os peixes do mar,
sobre as aves dos céus, sobre os animais
domésticos e sobre toda a terra, e sobre todos os
répteis que se arrastam sobre a terra.' Deus criou o
homem à Sua imagem; criou-o à imagem de Deus,
criou-o homem e mulher. Deus os abençoou:
'Frutificai, disse Ele, e multiplicai-vos, enchei a terra e
submetei-a'" (Génesis 1, 26-28).
De todas as coisas que
Deus tinha criado na face da Terra, nada, excepto o homem,
foi criado à Sua divina imagem e semelhança.
Isso mostrou quanto amor e respeito Deus teve por essa mais
bela de todas as Suas criaturas. Deus deu a Adão
autoridade total sobre a Sua criação, e
abençoou-o com tudo aquilo de que poderia precisar
para prosperar. Deus tinha até mesmo preparado, para
ele, um local muito especial, chamado Jardim do Éden.
Esse local deve ter sido muito bonito, já que o
próprio Deus o escolhera, entre tudo o que havia na
Terra, como um presente especial para Adão e Eva.
Deus colocara ali tudo o que poderia ser necessário
para sustentar as suas vidas em abundância. Isso
incluía a árvore da vida, no meio do jardim,
juntamente com a árvore do conhecimento do bem e do
mal. (Génesis 2, 8-9)
A INSTRUÇÃO
DIVINA
Antes da
criação de Eva, Deus deu a Adão esta
ordem: "Podes comer do fruto de todas as árvores do
jardim, mas não comas do fruto da árvore da
ciência do bem e do mal;porque no dia em que dele
comeres, morrerás indubitavelmente" (Génesis
2, 16-17).
Esse facto é muito importante, porque Adão
recebera essa instrução de Deus, antes da
criação de Eva. Deus dera a Adão o
domínio sobre toda a Terra, e era sua
responsabilidade cuidar dela. Também era
responsabilidade de Adão instruir Eva sobre o que
Deus dissera relativamente às árvores do
centro do jardim.
SATANÁS ENTRA EM
CENA
Como Eva não
estava presente quando Deus deu suas
instruções a Adão, o Diabo (que estava
lá, no momento) aproveitou-se da
situação, e abordou Eva a respeito das
árvores. Cuidadosamente, falou com ela sobre a
árvore da ciência do bem e do mal, sem
mencionar a árvore da vida, em momento algum. Era um
subterfúgio subtil para confundir Eva e
deixá-la indefesa.
Depois de desviar a atenção de Eva da
árvore da vida, Satanás concentrou a
atenção dela na árvore da ciência
do bem e do mal. Em seguida, começou a distorcer a
verdade, insidiosamente. Fez-lhe uma pergunta distorcida,
que parecia correcta: "É verdade que Deus vos disse
para não comerdes de nenhuma das árvores do
jardim?" O objetivo era instilar dúvida sobre o que
havia sido dito efectivamente.
Para compreendermos a
natureza abominável dessa pergunta, precisamos voltar
ao que Deus disse realmente: "Podes comer do fruto de todas
as árvores do jardim, mas não comas do fruto
da árvore da ciência do bem e do mal; porque no
dia em que dele comeres, morrerás
indubitavelmente."
Eva ficou confusa. Ela respondeu ao diabo, citando as
palavras de Deus incorretamente: "Podemos comer dos frutos
das árvores do jardim; somente sobre o fruto da
árvore no meio do jardim Deus disse 'Não deves
comer dele e nem mesmo tocá-lo, ou
morrerás.'"
É preciso notar que Eva não fez
distinção entre as duas diferentes
árvores, no meio do jardim. Além disso, Deus
não dissera nada sobre o facto de tocar nelas.
Satanás, aproveitando-se disso, passou a chamar a
Deus mentiroso.
"Com certeza, não
morrerás!"
No instante seguinte,
insinuou que Deus estava a esconder alguma coisa dela.
"Não, Deus sabe muito bem que no momento em que
comerdes dela, os vossos olhos se abrirão e sereis
como deuses, que sabem o que é o bem e o que é
o mal."
Há duas palavras que Satanás aproveitou
completamente. São elas "morrer" e "mal".
Porquê? Porque nenhum deles havia conhecido ou
experimentado o mal, até então. Também
não houvera morte. Essas palavras e conceitos eram
estranhos para Eva; assim, Satanás aproveitou-se
deles para causar dúvida sobre o que ela pensava ter
entendido de Deus. Esse argumento parecia fazer sentido para
Eva, e ela foi enredada como um peixe!
Observe-se também que Satanás disse que eles
seriam como deuses. Que audácia! Eles já eram
como deuses, pois foram criados à imagem divina!
Note-se ainda o primeiro grande logro: eles já
conheciam o bem; Satanás estava a oferecer apenas o
mal. E foi exactamente o que receberam: o fruto da
árvore da ciência do bem e do mal era... o
mal!
A táctica de Satanás não era fazer com
que odiassem a Deus, mas fazer com que o esquecessem, e essa
ainda é a sua maior táctica hoje. Percebemos
que os cristãos esmorecidos não odeiam a Deus,
mas esqueceram-se d'Ele. Outras coisas, que excluem Deus,
tornaram-se prioridade nas suas vidas, de modo que
Satanás os tem justamente onde deseja.
PECADO, DOENÇA E MORTE
ENTRAM EM CENA
Eva persuadiu
Adão a seguir o seu exemplo. Foi nesse momento que o
pecado e todos os poderes do mal inundaram o mundo, trazendo
consigo a doença, a enfermidade, e a morte!
Satanás ganhou o domínio da Terra, porque
Adão renunciou à sua autoridade. Tornou-se,
então, de forma legal, o deus desse mundo e, com ele,
toda a imundície do seu reino escuro.
Deve estar a perguntar por que razão foi o pecado de
Adão e não o de Eva que causou tudo isso. O
Génesis, capítulo 3, 6 diz: "Apresentou-o
também ao seu marido, que comeu igualmente."
Adão estava com Eva, enquanto o Diabo a estava a
iludir e não fez nada! Deus dera a "ordem" a
Adão, e ele poderia ter imposto autoridade sobre
Satanás, a qualquer momento, mas não o fez!
Adão não protegeu a sua esposa, e aceitou a
mentira, em vez de se ater à verdade da Palavra de
Deus.
Adão e Eva começaram a sentir medo, pela
primeira vez (Génesis 3:10), e a primeira coisa de
que tiveram medo foi do próprio Deus. Deus não
lhes ensinou o medo, nem o ensina a mim ou a si. Todo o medo
está relacionado com a punição e a
morte, e o medo é o oposto da fé! É
claro que a enfermidade não é mais do que uma
consequência do pecado, conforme diz o Catecismo
Católico, e que toda a doença é um grau
de morte.
A SERVIDÃO A UMA FALSA
CRUZ
É correcto
afirmar que toda a forma de doença, enfermidade, ou
moléstia, pode aproximar-nos de Deus, devido à
nossa grande necessidade. Mas isso não significa que
devamos aceitá-las como destino, e conviver com elas.
Não foi o que Jesus quis dizer quando afirmou "Tome a
sua cruz, e siga-me". Ele não ensinou que as
doenças, as enfermidades, e as moléstias, eram
boas para as nossas almas, nem que devíamos
simplesmente carregá-las como cruz.
Esse tipo de ensinamento não escrito manteve
milhões de pessoas na desesperança, durante
vários séculos, com a sua doutrina do destino,
e não da fé. É hora de quebrar esse
falso ensinamento, de uma vez por todas. Tomar a sua cruz
significa tomar o Evangelho, não as suas
doenças e enfermidades. Se as doenças e as
enfermidades são tão boas para si, não
peça ao seu médico que as cure. Não
aceite a oração pela cura, se for melhor ficar
doente; para quê roubar-se a si mesmo?
Se isso parece cruel, deixe-me apelar ao senso comum.
Suponhamos que foi ao médico, sabendo que ele tinha
os meios para o ajudar, mas em vez de fazer isso, ele lhe
disse: "Não vou tratar de si, porque acho que isso
é bom para a sua alma; agora vá, e aguente,
com paciência." Que é que pensaria desse
médico? Pode imaginar o que sentiria, se ele dissesse
isso a respeito de um seu filho doente? Como é
possível acreditar que Jesus, o médico divino,
poderia fazer algo tão cruel e impiedoso? Não
consigo encontrar nenhuma evidência na Sagrada
Escritura, que sustente uma atitude tão
incrédula, embora muitos pensem dessa forma, e
permaneçam na escravidão. Não estou a
defender que não devamos utilizar a medicina, ou
consultar um médico. Estou a dizer que não
devemos deixar Deus de fora, como um último recurso.
Devemos ir a Ele, primeiro! Acreditar na Sua Palavra de que
nos responderá de maneira positiva, e depois, tomar
as medidas sensatas que forem necessárias,
perseverando na fé, até que venha a cura.
A incredulidade é um pecado! Portanto, não
deixemos que Satanás nos roube, como roubou
Adão, ou carregaremos uma falsa cruz: uma cruz que
nos levará ao jugo da servidão e da
opressão, que tem o poder de nos matar, sem piedade.
Não é uma cruz que tem o poder de nos salvar.
Mas qual é, então, a resposta para o pecado, a
doença, a enfermidade, a opressão e a morte, e
para a cegueira causada pela visão recebida por
Adão e Eva? Como se recebe a salvação e
a cura? Bom, caro leitor, há Boas Novas!
2 Entre,
Jesus de Nazaré
Quando Jesus
começou o seu ministério na terra, depois do
seu baptismo, por João Baptista, no rio
Jordão, ele voltou para a Galileia, no poder do
Espírito Santo. Entrou na sinagoga de Nazaré,
como havia feito em toda a Sua vida, mas naquele dia foi
muito diferente; não foi o que as pessoas que o
conheciam esperavam ouvir de Jesus, o filho do
carpinteiro.
A
DECLARAÇÃO
Ele levantou-se para
ler, e foi-lhe dado o pergaminho do profeta Isaías.
Desenrolou-o, e encontrou a passagem que dizia: "O
Espírito do Senhor está sobre mim, porque Ele
me ungiu; enviou-me a anunciar a Boa Nova aos pobres, a
sarar os contritos de coração, a anunciar aos
oprimidos a redenção, aos cegos a
restauração da vista, a pôr em liberdade
os cativos, a proclamar um ano da graça do
Senhor."
Devolveu o pergaminho ao ajudante, e sentou-se.
Não era a primeira vez que eles ouviam a leitura
dessa passagem. Jesus deve ter lido esse texto da Escritura,
muitas vezes, naquela sinagoga, até então;
contudo, havia algo muito diferente naquele dia em
Nazaré... >>>

Bolezen - kako se je zacela
Bolezen je
najprej nastopila po grehu. (Katekizem
katoliške Cerkve. 1505/440) Greh je najprej
prišel na svet po Adamu, potem ko je Adam
verjel Satanovim lažem. Z lažjo je prišel greh
in vse stopnje umazanije, strahu in smrti. Vse
bolezni in slabosti so stopnje smrti, ker nas
ropajo življenja, in ce zadosti zbolimo, umremo. Od
samega zacetka je bil Satan na prizorišcu, da
bi lagal, ubijal in kradel Božje darove od ljudi.
Kakor hitro je Bog izgovoril Besedo, je bil Satan
pripravljen Adama in Evo oropati Božjega obilja in
smisla za njuno življenje.
MOJZESOVA KNJIGA
Bog je ustvaril nebo in zemljo in vse, kar je bilo
na njiju, in njegova koncna kronska slava je bila,
da je ustvaril Adama. Ni trajalo dolgo, da je
Satanovo sovraštvo do Boga globoko prizadelo
Božjo najljubšo stvaritev - cloveka!

"Bog je rekel: 'Naredimo
cloveka po svoji podobi, kot svojo podobnost! Gospoduje naj
ribam morja in pticam neba, živini in vsej zemlji ter vsej
laznini, ki se plazi po zemlji!' Bog je ustvaril cloveka po
svoji podobi, po Božji podobi ga je ustvaril, moškega
in žensko je ustvaril. Bog ju je blagoslovil in Bog jima je
rekel: "Bodita rodovitna in množita se, napolnita zemljo in
si jo podvrzita" (1Mz 1, 26-28)
Od vseh stvari, ki jih
je Bog ustvaril na oblicju zemlje, je bil samo clovek
ustvarjen po njegovi podobi in podobnosti. To kaže, koliko
ljubezni in spoštovanja je imel Bog do te najlepše
od vseh svojih stvaritev. Bog je dal Adamu popolno
avtoriteto nad svojim stvarstvom in ga blagoslovil z vsem,
kar bi mogel kdaj koli potrebovati za uspeh. Bog je celo
pripravil zanj prav poseben kraj, imenovan Edenski vrt. To
je moral biti zelo lep kraj, saj ga je sam Bog izbral izmed
krajev vse zemlje kot poseben dar Adamu in Evi. Bog je tja
postavil vse, kar bi morebiti mogla potrebovati, da bi
ohranjala svoje življenje v izobilju. To je vkljucevalo
drevo življenja sredi vrta skupaj z drevesom spoznanja
dobrega in hudega (1 Mz 2, 8-9)
BOŽJE NAVODILO
Pred stvarjenjem Eve je Bog dal Adamu to narocilo: "Z vseh
dreves v vrtu smeš jesti, le z drevesa spoznanja
dobrega in hudega nikar ne jej! Kajti na dan, ko bi jedel z
njega, boš gotovo umrl" (1 Mz 2, 16-17). To je zelo
pomembno dejstvo, ker je Adam prejel to navodilo od Boga
pred stvarjenjem Eve. Bog je dal Adamu gospostvo nad vso
zemljo in njegova odgovornost je bila, da skrbi zanjo. Prav
tako je bila Adamova odgovornost, da pouci Evo, kaj mu je
Bog dejal o drevesih v sredini vrta.
SATAN STOPI NA PRIZORIŠCE
Ker Eve ni bilo zraven, ko je Bog dal Adamu svoja navodila,
je Hudic (ki je bil takrat tam) izkoristil položaj, se
približal Evi in ji spregovoril o drevesih. Skrbno ji je
govoril o drevesu spoznanja dobrega in hudega, pri tem pa
sploh in omenil drevesa življenja. To je bila zelo
pretanjena zvijaca, ki naj bi zmedla Evo in zmanjšala
njeno pozornost.
Potem ko je Satan Evino pozornost odtegnil od drevesa
življenja, jo je usmeril na drevo spoznanja dobrega in
hudega. Potem je zacel zahrbtno paciti resnico. Vprašal
jo je sprevrženo vprašanje, ki je zvenelo kot pravilno:
"Ali je Bog res rekel, da ne smeta jesti z nobenega drevesa
v vrtu?" To vprašanje naj bi vsadilo dvom o tem, kaj je
Bog zares rekel.
Da bi dojeli zlobno naravo tega vprašanja, se moramo
vrniti k temu, kar je Bog zares dejal, namrec: "Z vseh
dreves v vrtu smeš jesti, le z drevesa spoznanja
dobrega in hudega nikar ne jej! Kajti na dan, ko bi jedel z
njega, boš gotovo umrl."
Eva je zdaj bila zmedena. Odgovorila je hudicu in napacno
navajala Boga: "Od sadu drevja v vrtu jeva, 'le z drevesa
sredi vrta,' je rekel Bog, 'ne jejta sadu, tudi dotikajta se
ga ne, sicer bosta umrla!'" Bodimo pozorni na to, da Eva ni
razlikovala med dvema razlicnima drevesoma sredi vrta. Bog
tudi ni rekel nicesar o dotikanju drevesa. Satan je takoj
izkoristil prednost ter hitel Boga imenovat lažnik. "Nikakor
ne bosta umrla!" Takoj v naslednjem dihu je podtaknil misel,
da ji hoce Bog nekaj pridržati. "V resnici Bog ve, da bi se
vama tisti dan, ko bi jedla z njega, odprle oci in bi
postala kakor Bog, poznala bi dobro in húdo."
Tukaj sta dve besedi, pri katerih je Satan pridobil popolno
prednost. To sta besedi "umreti" in "hudo". Zakaj? Ker ni do
takrat nobeden od njiju dveh niti poznal niti izkusil
hudega. Prav tako nista izkusila smrti. To sta bili za Evo
tuji besedi in tuja pojma, zato ju je Satan izkoristil, da
bi povzrocil dvom o tem, kaj je mislila, da je razumela o
Bogu. Ta razlog se je Evi zdel smiseln in ga je pogoltnila,
se nanj zataknila in postala dober plen!
Bodite pozorni, da je Satan dejal, da bosta kakor Bog.
Kakšna nesramnost! Bila sta že kakor Bog, ker sta bila
ustvarjena po Božji podobi! Bodite tudi pozorni na dejstvo,
da je bila Satanova najvecja prevara misel, da bosta
spoznala dobro in zlo. Najprej, dobro sta že poznala; Satan
jima je ponujal samo zlo. In prav to sta prejela: sad
drevesa spoznanja dobrega in hudega je bil hudo! Satanova
taktika ni bila, da bi v njiju zbudil sovraštvo do
Boga, ampak da bi ga pozabila, in danes je to še zmeraj
njegova najpogostejša taktika. Najdemo lahko padle
kristjane, ki Boga pravzaprav ne sovražijo, ampak so nanj
pozabili. Druge stvari, ki izkljucujejo Boga, so postale v
njihovem življenju prednost, tako da jih ima Satan prav tam,
kjer jih hoce imeti.
NASTOPIJO GREH, BOLEZEN IN SMRT
Eva je nagovorila Adama, naj sledi njenemu zgledu. V tistem
trenutku je greh z vsemi silami zla preplavil svet in z
njimi so prišli slabost, bolezen in smrt! Satan je
pridobil oblast nad zemljo, ker se je Adam odpovedal svoji
oblasti. Satan je takrat zakonito postal bog tega sveta in z
njim vsa gnusoba njegovega mracnega kraljestva.
Morebiti se sprašujete, zakaj je to prinesel Adamov
greh in ne Evin. Poglavje 3, 6 v 1. Mojzesovi knjigi pravi:
"Dala pa je tudi možu, ki je bil z njo, in je jedel."
Adam je bil z Evo, ko jo je Hudic zapeljeval, in ni storil
nic zoper to! Bog je Adamu "zapovedal" in Adam bi mogel
kadar koli uveljavljati oblast nad Satanom, vendar tega ni
storil! Adam ni zavaroval svoje žene in je sprejel laž,
namesto da bi se držal resnice Božje Besede.
Adam in Eva sta prvic zacela izkušati strah (1 Mz 3,
10) in prva stvar, ki sta se je bala, je bila sam Bog. Bog
ju ni ucil, naj se bojita, prav tako tega ne uci niti vas
niti mene. Ves strah je povezan s kaznijo in smrtjo in strah
je nasprotje vere! Jasno je, da sta slabost in bolezen
prišla predvsem po grehu, kot pravi katoliški
katekizem, in vsaka bolezen je neka stopnja smrti.
VEZ LAŽNEGA KRIŽA
Res je, ce recemo, da nas lahko vsaka oblika bolezni,
slabosti ali pohabljenosti pripelje bližje Bogu zaradi
naše velike potrebe. Vendar pa to ne pomeni, da jo
moramo sprejeti kakor usodo in v njej živeti. Jezus ni
mislil tega, ko je dejal: "Vzemite svoj križ in hodite za
menoj."
Ni ucil, da so slabost, bolezen in pohabljenost tako dobre
za dušo ali da bi jih morali preprosto nositi kot križ.
Tovrstni nesvetopisemski nauk je milijone ljudi za stoletja
zvezal s svojim naukom o usodi, namesto da bi jih poucil o
veri. Cas je, da je to lažno ucenje strto enkrat za vselej.
Vzeti nase svoj križ pomeni, da vzamete nase Evangelij, ne
svojih slabosti in bolezni. Ce sta slabost in bolezen za vas
tako dobri, ne prosite zdravnika, naj vas ozdravi. Ne
sprejemajte molitve za ozdravljenje, ce je bolje ostati
bolan; zakaj bi se oropali?
Ce to zveni brezsrcno, mi dovolite, naj se sklicujem na
zdravo pamet. Predpostavljajmo, da ste šli k zdravniku,
vedoc, da ima sredstvo, ki vam bo pomagalo, toda namesto
tega vam je dejal: "Ne bom vas zdravil, ker sem preprican,
da je to dobro za vašo dušo; pojdite in
potrpežljivo prenašajte bolezen." Kaj bi si mislili o
takšnem zdravniku? Ali si lahko predstavljate, kako bi
se pocutili, ce bi ta zdravnik rekel isto o vašem
bolnem otroku? Kako sploh moremo verjeti, da bi Jezus, Božji
Zdravnik, mogel storiti nekaj tako brezsrcnega in okrutnega?
V Svetem pismu ne morem najti nobenega podatka, ki bi
podpiral takšno neverjetno naravnanost, in vendar mnogi
še naprej tako razmišljajo in ostajajo
zvezani.
Ne trdim, da ne bi smeli uporabljati zdravil ali hoditi k
zdravniku. Pravim, da Boga ne bi smeli prav do zadnjega
trenutka pušcati ob strani. Najprej bi morali iti k
njemu! Verjemite mu na Besedo, da nam bo odgovoril
pozitivno, potem pa sprejmite vse razumne ukrepe, ki so
potrebni, ter vztrajajte v veri, dokler ne pride do
ozdravljenja.
Nevera je greh! Torej ne dovolite Satanu, da vas oropa,
kakor je storil z Adamom, sicer boste nosili lažni križ:
križ, ki vas bo pripeljal pod jarem zvezanosti in potrtosti,
jarem, ki vas je sposoben neusmiljeno ubiti. To je križ, ki
nima moci, da bi vas odrešil. Kaj je torej odgovor na
greh, slabost, bolezen, pobitost, smrt in slepoto,
povzrocene s pogledom, ki sta ga prejela Adam in Eva? Kako
prejmete odrešenje in ozdravljenje? Tako, dragi bralec,
tukaj je Dobra Novica.

Vstopi, Jezus iz Nazareta
Ko je Jezus po krstu pri
Janezu Krstniku v reki Jordan zacel svojo zemeljsko službo,
se je v moci Svetega Duha vrnil v Galilejo. Stopil je v
shodnico, kakor je delal vse svoje življenje, le da je bilo
tokrat zelo drugace; kar so ljudje, ki so ga poznali,
slišali, ni bilo tisto, kar bi pricakovali od Jezusa,
tesarjevega sina.
Razglas Vstal je, da bi bral, in dali so mu zvitek preroka,
Izaija. Odvil je zvitek, našel odlomek in ga prebral:
"Duh Gospodov je nad menoj, ker me je mazilil. Poslal me je,
da oznanim jetnikom prostost in slepim vid, da oznanim leto,
ki je ljubo Gospodu."
Zvitek je vrnil predstojniku shodnice in sedel.
Ni bilo prvic, da so slišali brati ta odlomek. Jezus je
verjetno v shodnici to besedo pred tem prebral že veckrat,
in vendar je bilo ta dan v Nazaretu nekaj precej drugace...
