Welcome to Mesah View Guesthouse and Massage Salon, Vang Vieng

Mesah View Guesthouse and Massage Salon

We are a small, friendly, family run hotel / guesthouse, with 11 rooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Our guest house overlooks the river and mountains, and three of the top four restaurants as rated by Tripadvisor are all within about 300 metres or a two minute walk.

There is wifi and also a computer you can use for free, and of course the rooms are cleaned daily unless you request not to be disturbed.

We are here to make your stay in Vang Vieng a very enjoyable and memorable one, whether you are having an overnight stop travelling from Vientiane to Luang Prabang or vice versa, or whether you are staying for a week or two. Some people stay for a month or more!

Remember, nothing is too much trouble for us!

We want you to feel so welcome that you will want to return in future years!

We are a nice guesthouse, run for the benefit of nice guests wanting to enjoy our hospitality and all the great activities Vang Vieng has to offer. We aim to attract quality visitors who appreciate quality of service!

With only 11 rooms we hope you feel like part of an extended family. We try hard to give you all the information you need about things to do in Vang Vieng and booking your trip onwards.

Mesah Loay Mesah

Loay is the owner, and the guesthouse is named after his daughter Mesah. His wife Phai runs the massage salon.

A laundry service is available, 7000 kip a kilo.

Cheapest beer in Vang Vieng!!

Large Beer Lao, 9000 kip

Large Mekhong Beer 8000 kip

Complimentary hot drinks are available at all times.

There is a fridge under the stairwell for guests to keep any fruit or drinks cold.

If you phone up when you arrive, Loay will come and pick you up, but you need to let us know which which bus company as therre are several bus stops. However, we no longer wait at the bus stops. We used to wait at the bus stops, but there are several bus stops and this caused confusion and also so many people made bookings and then didn't come. This wastes too much time, and there is a frenzy when a bus arrives of people inviting you to stay at their guesthouse, and this is something we do not want to be part of.

One guest was very grumpy because he was waiting at one bus stop and we were waiting at another bus stop!

We have a safety deposit box and free internet and WIFI

We also have a motorbikes for rent by the day 30,000 to 50,000 kip for manual, 80,000 kip for automatic, and city bicycles for rent 10,000 kip a day, which is cheaper than most places. The more expensive mountain bikes for off road are 30,000 kip per day..

Address

Unfortunately the streets do not have names yet in Vang Vieng! We are possibly the only place in the world without street names!

We are located along the river, 100 metres from the hospital, opposite family school and five minutes walk from the centre of town and the tubing office.
