Previous Gosnells City Pathfinders activities
Gosnells City Pathfinders are involved in a variety of activities.
As well as regular club meetings and camps, we get up to all sorts of things including :
May 30, 2004 - Abseiling at Boya Quarry. Many of the kids had never abseiled before and really had a great time. There was quite a bit of adrenaline flowing and several knees knocking.

April 25, 2004 - ANZAC day. Gosnells City Pathfinders are regulars in the Gosnells City march and dawn service. We usually have a sleepover at the church hall so we can all be up before the birds and ready for the march over the bridge to the City Council offices and the War Memorial. We always stay for the free breakfast after the service (Well done Rotary Club for the Breakfast)!

February 22, 2004 - Milk Carton Regatta at Hillarys Marina. We had two boats in the regatta again and both boats managed to win. We also entered a team in the Dragon Boat race and made it to the Final. Unfortunately we couldn't beat the Masters team so they took the trophy home (this time...) Well done everyone!
April 30, 2003 - Milk Carton Regatta at Hillarys Marina. We had two boats in the regatta again but only the little kids (12 years and under) managed to win. Well done everyone - especially the younger Pathfinders!
March 24, 2002 - Milk Carton Regatta at Hillarys Marina. We had two boats in the event and managed to win the heats and finals in both races. Well done guys! (and girls)

May 30 to June 2, 2003 - Cape to Cape Expedition. This was a WA Conference event with about 100 Pathfinders from around the state attending. There were 10 groups backpacking in various sections of the Cape to Cape track which stretches 140 km between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leewin in Western Australia. Another 6 groups were doing day hikes based out of Conto's campsite. Everyone seemed to have a great time! I have a few pics that should be here soon..... Perhaps not so soon....
Dec 26, 2002 to Jan 10, 2003 - Camporee. We all went by coach to Adelaide and Melbourne, then back to Waikerie in SA for the Camporee. Eventually we all came home again!

July 5 to 14, 2002 - Pioneer Camp / Storm Co (Service To Others Really Matters). Several of our teenage pathfinders took part in the combined Pioneer Camp / Storm Co trip. The purpose of the trip is to run holiday clubs and perform several comunity service activities in remote communities. There were three teams in 2002 at Meekatharra, Willuna and Cue. I'd love some pics here!
July 12 to 14, 2002 - Caving trip to Eneabba for the younger pathfinders. This provided a real mental and physical challenge to some of the kids and their leaders! Thanks for the pictures Rebecca.

Seventh-day Adventist Church Easter Camp. Gosnells City Pathfinders obtained the contract for toilet and shower cleaning! Loads of fun for all involved (NOT). It is a good fundraising exercise. Sorry, no pics.
We did heaps of other stuff as well, honest... Life just gets too busy...
