Explanation and reason for this page

The Apple 2e computer I have is a fully working system.
Last time I had it set up and working was in 1998.
All parts where working at that time.
It is now disconnected and stored away.

Once it is set up and all parts are connected
to open AW and typing a letter and printing it out on the ADP
is faster then doing the same on my iMac

This is partly a SW problem.
Apple's one great failure is never to have seriously supported
AppleWorks-Claris Works, even that 99% of Apple computer owner
have this SW on they system. It is one of the most neglected, by the company,
and missed opportunity, of any software in the history of computing.
