I began with the tailplane and elevator - switching over to the fin and rudder when waiting for glue to dry.

Here is the rudder after being stitched with flat lace. Robbie Felton in the club said to use it instead of the round as it looks better and is not that much harder to use. I have to say he was right -it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Well as you can see the empennage is all but done. I only have to fit the lower bracing wires to complete it. I have to say it's a nice feeling to sit in the cockpit and waggle the rudder and elevator to breathe 'life' into my aircraft.
