TRX850 - revolutionary street sportster

The TRX850's liquid cooled, slant block, 5 valve DOHC engine is the world's first ever 270 degree parallel twin.

Fed by super efficient 38mm downdraft carburettors and equipped with a throttle position sensor (TPS), this compact power plant kicks out a massive 85Nm of high traction torque at 6000rpm. 

The TRX frame consists of two assemblies, the cast alloy swinging arm pivot and the trellis design frame onto which the conventional telescopic front forks are attached.

This relatively simple structure is a stiff, light and slimline chassis which plays a significant part in maintaining the bike's precision road handling characteristics and keeping the big twin's 190kg dry weight down.
