When it first appeared, the Grizzly shredded the large capacity ATV market, with its 595cc four-stroke powerhouse and fully automatic dual range 'ultramatic' transmission with centrifugal clutch for superior engine braking downhill or under load. For unrivalled handling, the Grizzly also boasts light-steering 2WD, or full-traction 4WD at the push of a button, and a huge capacity for hard work, with a total rack load capability of130kg, and trailer hitch rated to 550kg. The new model Grizzly offers even better handling, having shed almost 20 kilos over the previous model, yet offers a host of changes designed to give even greater service life. Better waterproofing is provided for bearings and steering knuckles, with waterproof electrical couplers used and relays located higher on the machine. Full instrumentation includes fuel gauge and hourmeter, to keep track of service intervals. Aluminium wheels, a new, improved drive shaft seal, and grease nipples for cross joints all combine to keep the Grizzly the toughest, most willing offsider ever to a hard day's work.
