To SCADA Mailing List Participants: I'm pursuing an interest in Disaster Recovery Planning for SCADA, Call Centre and CTI and Mobile Computing facilities. The communication backbone is fibre (via SONET), metallic and wireless 400 and 800 Mhz trunked radio systems. Has anyone pursued offsite remote backup and disaster recovery scenarios including emergency system planning (neither local hardware/software SCADA failover nor UPS type systems)? What types of business cases have been structured? Does anyone have a guideline they follow in terms of a what percentage of capital dollars invested in a SCADA/EMS project that they allocate to a Disaster Recovery Plan/Site/Hardware Sofware? Thanks. --
