Applications for Music Scholarships

Applications for Academic Scholarships

Applicable to the Sr Alacoque Gittins Scholarships for Academic Excellence, Sr Joan Evans Boarding Scholarships and IPPA (Ionian Past Pupils Association) Scholarships.

To ensure equality and practicality within the testing environment the College engages an external service provider who specialises in the examination of academic scholarship applicants. The Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) will conduct the College’s Scholarship Examination for academic scholarships for 2013.
ACER supplies the College with registration facilities, provision of testing materials, marking and evaluation of testing results at a cost of $87 per student. In addition the College charges a small administration fee of $13 per student to provide the facilities, morning tea and supervision for the testing program.

Please Note

Iona Presentation College does not take part in the co-operative testing program.

Cost

There is a cost of $100.00 to sit this examination. Online registrations must be paid by credit card. Registration and payment of $100.00 must be received by Friday 16 March 2012. No late entries will be accepted.

Academic Examination

When: 8.45 am – Saturday 24 March 2012
Where: Iona Presentation College, 33 Palmerston Street, Mosman Park. The Iona Sports Centre, (directional signage will be in place)
Timing: 8.45 am – 12.15 pm

Notification

ACER will provide a student report, which will be sent out to each candidate with a letter from the College notifying the candidate of their result in the selection process. It is envisaged that the candidate will receive correspondence from the College in May/June 2012.

After ticking the appropriate box/s you are asked to again identify the name of the school, ‘Iona Presentation College’ and which scholarship you are applying for, for example ‘Sr Alacoque Gittins Academic Scholarship’ or ‘Sr Joan Evans Boarding Scholarship’ etc.
