In 2012 the following scholarships are being offered:

Academic

• Sister Alacoque Gittins Academic Scholarship - a minimum of two scholarships will be awarded to incoming Year 7 students
• Sister John Jones Academic Scholarship – a minimum of one scholarship offered for a student entering Year 10
• Sister Joan Evans Boarding Scholarship – a minimum of one scholarship offered for a student entering Year 7
• Ionian Past Pupils Association (IPPA) Scholarship – a minimum of one scholarship will be offered to student entering Year 7 and who is a daughter/granddaughter of a Past Pupil

Music

• Presentation Sisters’ Music Scholarship
• Sister Patricia Downey Music Scholarship
• Sister Margaret Mary Easton Music Scholarship

Indigenous

• Iona Presentation College Indigenous Scholarship - a minimum of one scholarship will be offered for a student entering Year 7

For further information on all scholarships please download the ‘Scholarship Program’ document below.  Please note that applications close for all scholarships at 5.00 pm on Friday 11 March 2011.  Candidates are welcome to apply for as many scholarships as is relevant to them.

Applications for Academic Scholarships

Those applying for an academic scholarship must register online with the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) who conducts the examination for these scholarships.  The Examination will take place at the College on Saturday 26 March 2011.  A link to the ACER online registration is below.

When registering online please make sure to apply for the correct scholarship/s:

After ticking the appropriate box/s you are asked to again identify the name of the school, ‘Iona Presentation College’ and which scholarship you are applying for, for example ‘Sister Alacoque Gittins Academic Scholarship’ or ‘Sister Joan Evans Boarding Scholarship’ etc.
