Rex Rabbits.

Are a medium sized rabbit ( 6 - 8 lbs) that should be rather graceful with a gently sloping body up to well rounded hindquarters. The head is broad and bold with the ears held erect. The rex has a distinctive velvety fur achieved by guard hairs that are the same length as the undercoat hairs. The fur should only be about 1/2 an inch long and should be firm and plushlike.
