Rex are distinguished by their short plush coats. They don't have the longer coarser guard hairs that other rabbit breeds have - thus giving them a softer 'plush' feel to their coat.

These breeds  are available in WA although the Dalmation & Satin Mini Rex may no longer be available.

Mini Rex.

Is a smaller version of the standard Rex rabbit. It is judged to the general standard of Rex in all aspects with the exception of size. The Mini Rex should be between 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 lbs.

Available in many colours.

Chinchilla Mini Rex

 

 

Dalmation Rex.

The Dalmation Rex has the normal Rex type and coat but has numerous coloured patches covering the body, head and ears.

Can be bi-colour - White with pattern of one colour only.

or Tri-colour - White with pattern of two colours.

Colours can be Black, Blue, Brown, orange or Fawn.

 

 

 

 

Satin Mini Rex.

These are Mini Rex that have been satinised. They have the short plush coat of the Mini Rex with fine Satin-like texture and sheen.

Adults to weigh between 3lb 4 ozs. and 4 lbs 8 ozs.
