The US Model Raildroad Club of WA (formerly the City of Cockburn Model Railroad Club) is located in Perth, West Australia.
It is one of the only clubs in the Perth region devoted entirely to the modelling of US prototype model railroads.
We are located at unit 2, 33 Macedonia Street in Naval Base. This is approximately 30 minutes south of the center of Perth, and is located in a factory unit which we rent.
The club members are constructing a fairly large (30' x 50') double track, HO scale layout located in the western portions of the United States. We run the trains using the Digitrax Chief based DCC system which allows us to have many trains running under independant control. Once a month (usually the first Saturday of the month), we get together for a BBQ and an operating session using an "employee timetable" and schedule.
The club meets every Saturday from about 12:30 till 5:00pm or so. If you'd like to come on down and visit, just drop us a line and we'll see you there.
