Gotham City's temperature is at an all-time high as Batman and the boy wonder Robin are trying to follow up on a murder of some local thugs - but the markings left behind are all too familiar for Batman, who hides the secret of the Predators from Robin. Meanwhile, Robin's arch nemesis Dr. Freeze has his eyes on Gotham's money, but he finds himself trapped between a cold hard place and a pair of galactic killers.

Evading the Predators was lucky, but keeping Dr. Freeze's temperature low is another thing as he fights to stay alive. In the meantime Batman and Robin are still investigating the suspicious killings in Gotham, but Batman knows who's in town for blood and keeping it from Robin is a top priority. Once Batman begins the chase, his high-powered helicopter finds the Predators hunting in the city, and soon it seems that the hunt for one Predator is over... or is it?

After a foolish decision, Batman finds himself less one multi-million dollar chopper... and worse still, an angry Predator on the loose in Gotham. After a tip-off from the driver of a hijacked ice cream truck, Batman finds himself working with Freeze to discover why the Predators didn't kill him. Batman begins the chase to uncover the two Predators, and Robin is ordered to stay away - but when Batman realises Robin's life is in danger also, it's all a little too late.

It seems all hope is lost for the boy wonder as the Predator holds him over the edge, ready to claim his first solo kill! Is it the end of Robin? Has Batman finally fallen to these galactic Predators? Does Alfred save the day? ...
