After seen your website I"ve decided to come out and start hunting for fellow fans in the genre. I"m a sculptor of natural history themes for some 30 years.This past weekend at The Plaza las Americas Mall in San Juan there as a comic book and trading cards convention when I started looking at all those predator cards and posters.I spoke with a local merchant exhibiting and asked him if he would comissioned me to sculpt a predator bust, the lance, the mask in honduras magohany wood and the skull and spinal column done in mango wood. he took a good at me and said "where have I been" for science fiction and fantasy show as far sculptures of Sci Fi themes.I"m wrtting for help in reference to excellent pictures, images, front, side views of predator drawings. I"m doing the bust in real scale.I have large blocks of wood 4 feet high by two feet wide. Im planning the sculpture from mid chest to the top of head. I have not decided yet to go with a natural finish of the wood or painted the figure accordlingly. I would appreciate very much if you guys would help me out on how big or large the predator head would be in real life scale. There"s a big comic and trading cards convention coming up in September in San Juan. I want my predator to steal the show.The WOW !!! factor is defintely involved.I have a son enlisted in the army in New York and he so excited that he placed an order already without me having the preliminary drawings or clay model yet.It"s amazing how we (all fans) loves the genre. Cyrok: I read in an article a long,loooonnnggg time ago that scientists created silicon based life in a lab,and if preds are silicon based then thats a whole new set of rules.Also,their blood glows green,suggesting a high phosphorus content,and the pred homeworld might be %83 N,%11 methane.%3 O and trace amounts of other elements.
