NEW FOREST PONIES IN AUSTRALIA, ANNECY PARK NEW FOREST PONY STUD
We purchased our first New Forest Pony in 1984 from Alison Charlton,
"Erinskay Annecy". What an absolute legend this pony has been for us
and the breed. We have showed Annie extensively and she won all that was put in front of her. She was Champion at the Melbourne Royal and
Vic Stud Show many many times and also Supreme Champion New Forest.
She won her ridden class at Melbourne Royal and also many Champion ridden classes at Agi and Open Horse shows throughout Victoria and
Southern NSW.
She won many Champion dressage Awards including the
National title in Sydney at the RDA Dressage Championships, and in doing that
she qualified me for the Australian RDA Dressage Team to compete at the World Dressage Championships in England where I came 5th overall out of 15 countries.

Annie's breeding is exceptional with
Sire:Gosden Jubilation and Dam:Forestway Sprig'O'Holly.
We went on to breed 2 foals from Annie. The first one being a very stylish filly named "Annecy Park Mystique" by Shirley Smith's stallion in SA, "Vernons Sweet sultan". She won many Open classes and Champions under saddle and In Hand classes. We sold her to a lovely family in Melbourne who continued to show her and compete at Pony Club winning many awards.
The second pony we bred was by "Forestway Royal Ascot". She was a pretty youngster who we showed in Southern NSW winning open classes.
She is now owned by Penny Prosser in Victoria and is currently enjoying life as a broodmare.

We also purchased a mare from Shirley Smith of SA and showed her
with much success In Hand and Under Saddle.

In the 1990's we flew to Tasmania to have a look at George Cheswicks New Forest Ponys.
When I competed in England we travelled to the New Forest to go and see the ponies.
