Lady Cottington's Pressed Faeries Book was one of Brian Frouds best loved books where Brian illustrated faeries that had been caught whilst Lady Cottington pressed flowers.

Brian Froud has won a number of awards like; ASFA Best Interior Illustration and the Hugo award for Best Original Artwork in 1995.

Seen the star wars trilogy? Remember the little green goblin type guy who you see in 'The Empire Strikes Back' and the latest Star Wars episode 1 'The Phantom Menace'. That little green goblin was designed by Wendy Froud! Talent seems to run in the name 'Froud'. The little baby in "The Labyrinth" is Toby, their son. He is now 15 and into puppets.

Fairies, a beautifully illustrated book by Brian Froud. Published in 1978 with the help of Alan Lee. The sequel to this book is 'Good Faeries, Bad Faeries'.

The Goblin Companion. Illustrated and written by Brain Froud and Terry Jones. Thebook used to be known as 'The Goblins of the Labyrinth' which was published in 1986 but was reprinted in 1996 as 'The Goblin Companion' which doesn't have the full-page, colour conceptual paintings in this newer version.
If you read my Faeries Page then you would have remembered me saying that not all faeries are good faeries. This book illustrates this perfectly. It is a book with amazing illustrations as seen on the front too. If you want to see some pictures out of this book then visit my Brian Froud Picture Gallery.
This book was first published in 1997. It is great, well thought out and has very creative illustrations. The pictures though can get oogly and immodest too but are still great. It really gives you an urge to wash your hands when you've finished reading it. You also might feel like washing the pages of the book!
