Collecting
the Ankylosaurus You will find many auctions available that include an Ankylosaurus or two. The dedicated collector can easily amass an army of them in no time. The small amount of accessories makes it easier to complete loose sets. The dinosaur is small and doesn't have the trademark 'bird eyes' of the other dinosaurus, but it is easy enough to spot in a collection. Keep an eye out for wear on the feet and tail. The body is also easily cracked when attaching the harness. Speaking of the purple harness, it is quite bendable, so check for stress lines. The crossbow is sturdier, but make sure it still has its red arrow tip. Sting is a very common figure, perhaps as common as those from the first series of 2-packs. He has a 1st series Rulon body with an ant head. His head is light brown with cream horns. He has grey pants, maroon shirt and yellow markings.

Ankylosaurus
Notes The Ankylosaurus is not sculpted to scale, and is much smaller than it should be. This was corrected (sort of) when the Smithsonian Dinosaur Collection was released, by renaming Ankylosaurus to Euoplochephalus.
