Variations
In recent times there has been a discovery of a variant Llahd figure packaged with this set. A figure from the Yungstar/Nova mould has surfaced bearing a paint scheme similar to that of the regular Llahd figure. It is thought that a suitable mould for Llahd could not be completed in time for the toy launch, so a repainted Yungstar figure was used as a temporary substitute. The Real Pterodactyl
There were many pterodactyls living during the late Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Most of them were the size of modern birds. Unlike earlier flying reptiles, pterodactyls did not have long tails. They were good fliers and were able to cover long distances. Different pterodactyls had varying ways of life. Some caught insects on the wing while others ate fish. Their bodies were covered with fur, but the wings were naked, which shows us that pterodactyls were warm-blooded like modern mammals and birds.
