Collecting
the Quetzalcoatlus
The Quetzalcoatlus, like all Series 1 Dino-Riders, is quite easy to
come by either loose or boxed. Don't get carried away bidding for
one of these, because there will always be another appearing soon.
The Quetcalcoatlus
has fairly few parts, and are all easily identifiable. The pterosaur
itself is blue-grey in colouring, with a light brown underside.
Yungstar has blonde
hair, blue eyes, blue headband, blue boots, brown pants, brown vest,
light blue sleeves, and a silver belt.
Common areas of
wear can be found on the beak, crest and wing tips. The tips of the
beak often break off, as well as the clips holding the laser pods
onto the wings. The blue seat belt is also prone to bending and breaking.

The Real Quetzalcoatlus
Quetzalcoatlus
was the largest flying animal known to scientists. It had a wingspan
of 12 metres - as large as that of a small aeroplane. Quetzalcoatlus
had a long neck and a small head. It lived in Texas during the Cretaceous
period (136 to 65 million years ago).
