The Saurolophus, an advanced dinosaur, lived in the late chalk time. Incidentally its nourishment was vegetables chopped off with its nout. Saurolophus skeletons have been found up to 11m long. In contrast to other dinosaurs its head was comparitively large (translated).

Collecting the Saurolophus
The Saurolophus is from the second assortment of the second series, and is therefore difficult to find. Keep an eye on eBay though and you will eventually get your own to hold and cherish!

If you are collecting a Saurolophus, make sure it has all of its components. There are quite a few pieces, and if you are missing just one part the action features will not work. The blade that attaches to the belly strap falls off if you so much as breath near it, so watch out.

The Saurolophus itself is easy to identify with its black and brown colour pattern. Common wear spots are on its feet, claws, face, and tail.

The armour is made up of several connecting pieces which, as mentioned above, are all vital. Thankfully the armour isn't held on with a rubber band, but the purple strap is still prone to stress lines. The gun barrels easily snap off, as well as the seat belt holding Lokus in place.

Lokus is a bug-headed Rulon with a series 2 body. His colouring is predominantly purple and grey, with a yellow and red chest piece. Check for wear in the usual areas.

Tyco 1990 Catalogue: Authentic 1/24th scale Saurolophus is a menacing enemy with its fold-out Belly Spikes. Evil Lokus atop the pivoting pulse cannon keeps the Saurolophus slave to the horrible Brain Box. Features spring-loaded Hidden Rock Bunker for surprise Rulon attacks!

The Real Saurolophus
("Ridged lizard"). Every duckbill, it sometimes seems, had at least one odd characteristic. Thirty-foot (9-meter) Saurolophus had a strange sloping skull that scientists think was covered with flaps of skin. It may have been able to inflate these flaps into balloons, perhaps to impress members of the opposite sex.
