The Real Pachyrhinosaurus
("Thick-nosed lizard"). When is a horned dinosaur not a horned dinosaur? When it's Pachyrhinosaurus, a relativ of the familiar Triceratops that came equipped with no horns at all. Instead, it had a mass of bone between its eyes that couldn't have provided a very effective weapon. Its chief protection must have been its large size (up to 20 feet [6.2 meters]) and thick, tough skin.
