Collecting the Sabretooth Tiger
Like all Ice Age sets, if you are looking for a MIB set your best chance is to keep an eye on European auctions. There is a large amount of the Ice Age series available, but keep postage costs in mind.

Loose may prove to be a challenge, as I haven't seen many Sabre Tooth Tigers as part of loose collections. Luckily there are not many pieces to this set: the tiger, Kub, two guns, a seat and a belly band. A very small amount of pieces, especially compared to some other sets!

The Tiger is susceptible to wear on its paws and nose. Mine had a paint scrape on its nose, and it was taken straight from MIB! You've also got the well-known snapping problems of the belly band and gun turrets. Check for wear on Kub in the usual spots.

Tyco 1990 Catalogue: This realistic replica really looks alive. The articulated Sabre Tooth Tiger is fully accessorized with rotating laser guns and comes with "KUB," a Cro-Magnon caveman action figure.

Sabretooth Tiger Notes
If you are looking for evidence of Dino-Riders' budgetary cuts, the Sabre Tooth Tiger is it. Apart from the great sculpting on the actual tiger, the rest of the set is fairly sparse in terms of equipment and quality.
