Kids Today

I drew this picture after seeing advertisments for that night's current affairs programs on two different channels - one selling a story on how peer pressure and the fashion industry were turning kids into anorexics, and the other on how kids were eating junk food and getting grossly overweight. If 40% of kids are obese and 35% are anorexic every kid I knew must have been one of the "lucky few" in between! Journalistic beat-ups really *tick* me off, thus the added knives, guns, drugs and sexual allusions; all classic media props when talking about "the youth of today". This is practically the only "political commentary" type cartoon I have drawn.

Kids today - don't believe everything you hear.
