See the birds of prey on youtube

The photographs and many of the videos were taken by Sue, with her new Samsung WB600 camera with HD video. Other videos were taken with a hand held camera two years old but not as good quality as Sues new compact one!

The bird handler is the very entertaining and informative Yvonne Sitko read about her here.

This is a close up of Petra the Kestrel, followed by the picture it was taken from.

Close up of Petra the Kestrel. On the left of Petra's eye you can see my reflection because of the curvature of the eye.

Click on the images below for a very large file, click again for some amazing detail. Warning you will need fast internet connection.

Petra the Kestrel.

Aquila audax Wedge-tailed Eagle Micro is a very small Eagle for his species. They think he was poisoned as a chick and this has stunted his growth.

a

Look at the contrast of Micro's left eye and Yvonne's right.

a

Although he is very small for his species he is still big.

a Yes a big bird, Auzzie the female who flys for the West Coast Eagles is twice as big as Micro.
