Third Tailight Fails

I was explaining to a major client of the taillight problem and went to show him how solid the right hand indicator was compared to the left hand indicator. Another bad move, the right hand indicator is wobbly too! Now I have gaffa tape on each indicator arm and a big strip across the top of the taillight, looks wonderful :(

I happened to be in Melbourne that afternoon, so I dropped in to Southbank Motorcycles and saw Pete and arranged for him to order in another taillight so the work can be done at the next service.

You know it's really looking like the standard service routine will go something like this: "I'd like to book my bike in for a service and a replacement taillight!" Just sort of takes the gleam off the bike don't you think?

While I was at Southbank Motorcycles I bought a pair of GS gloves to replace the Harley gloves which were starting to come apart. I intended to use these gloves through the Summer but there hasn't been any stock on the shelves. Pity they arrived after Summer. Maybe it has something to do with the change of seasons in the Northern Hemisphere?
