Anzac Day
Spent the weekend riding as the weather was not exactly fantastic, but it certainly wasn't wet or cold.
Friday afternoon I rode up to a school camp at Tamboritha where a group of Churchillians were spending the weekend away. The road is sealed until it rises up from the Wellington River as ascends to the the Tamboritha saddle. The camp is short distance from there. The road was severely corrugated, especially on the corners. Just before the first 30 kph warning sign I heard a metallic ring that signaled that perhaps I'd lost the Registration label holder yet again. Stopped the bike and sure enough it was gone.
I had removed the label from the provided bracket as the bracket had fatigued on both of the outside arms and was in danger of falling off.

I attached the registration label to the number plate, where Southbank Motorcycles had conveniently drilled a hole. What had happened was that the metal around the hole in the number plate had fatigues and the registration label had fallen off with a piece of the number plate. Great!

I walked back down the road and was fortunate enough to find it. Lucky it had fallen onto a piece of rocky road, otherwise I wouldn't have heard anything.
Saturday I rode to Sunbury for a wedding. I clearly hadn't had enough sleep as I was fighting fatigue from about Warragul on.
Sunday I participated in the South East version of the 30th anniversary ride of the Melbourne BMW Motorcycle Club. We traveled from Doveton to Mossvale Park. I serenaded the riders as we had a morning break at Drouin.
Monday I tried a new position for the registration label. With the help of a friendly man at Autobahn I found the clamp that I needed. Lets see how long this lasts!
