Change of Attitude
Well today I was nearly rear ended by a car at the Trafalgar traffic lights. I was approaching the traffic lights near the Mobil station travelling west. Being the law abiding person that I am, I slowed down to stop as the lights had changed amber and I did have time to stop. Not so the four wheel drive vehicle to my right, it just kept going. The small car behind me, driven by a mature (?) aged man, went around me on the left, the turning lane, and kept going. I guess I'm not needed upstairs yet and my protector (what else can you call it?) intervened, otherwise I would have been history. This is the second time this has happened, so I'm changing my ways.
From now on, if there's a car behind me when the lights go amber, I'm just going to keep going. That seems to be the way things are done, so I'm joining in. Scary stuff!
I caught up to the man, and indicated my displeasure with a few hand signals as I passed him.
Is everyone really in that much of a hurry these days?
