I rode to Bruthen with Graeme Matheson to attend the Bruthen
Blues Jam (held on the the 1st Sunday of each month) which was a good day. Beats
traveling solo. We took it easy, stopping at Stratford and Bairnsdale. I strapped
my electric lap steel guitar to the back of the bike and it survived just fine.
I was quite intrigued by the behavior of the motorists. I guess it has something
to do with that L plate on the back of my bike that
upsets them. Three times a vehicle would pass me but not Graeme. What gives? I
sped up one time and passed the vehicle that passed me to find that the vehicle
slowed right down and left us alone. Bizarre! Can't wait to get my Probationary
License, then I won't need to wear P plates and upset all of those wonderful vehicle
drivers.
