Had my first close call today. I was traveling to Morwell from Churchill and was coming up the the Hazelwood Power Station turnoff. I could see two cars parked on one of the traffic islands and slowed down a bit. It seems that there had been a collision and there was a bit of action. A car traveling from Morwell and turning towards Hazelwood was taking in the action too, pity they failed to see me and turned without giving way to me. Lucky there were no other cars and I was able to turn to the right and miss them. Bloody RubberNecks. And here I was thinking it was such a beautiful day to be out riding.
I think the same thing happened to those two cars judging my the skid marks and the front end damage to one of the cars. You just can't be too careful seems to be the way to live your life.
