The MiG-23 is the first variable wing fighter delivered to the Soviet Air Force. Developed as the successor of the MiG-21 the Mig-23 is far improved in the radar power range and the external store capacity. The MiG-23 is also capable as a support aircraft besides it's main role as an interceptor.
