Within the Dianic Tradition, there is no God/dess duality. The core belief structure is that all life and existence stems from the Goddess, the Earth, the Mother, and to her we ultimately return. "We all come from the Goddess, and to her we will return; like a single drop of rain flowing to the ocean" (Z. Budapest)

Dianic Wicca follows the triple faceted Goddess theory, also known as the triple moon aspect, being the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone as milestones in a woman's life. Witches following the Dianic path believe power stems from blood, and the lunar cycle. They celebrate the blood mysteries:

bulletfirst blood (own birth)
bulletmenarche (first occurrence of menstruation)
bulletchild birth
bulletmenopause (Croning)
bulletdeath

While all people live and die, the Dianics distinguish men apart from women, as they do not menstruate, nor give birth and therefore have a different focus, and a different power.

The central philosophy behind Dianic Wicca is that it is a place for women to be women, there are no thoughts of men, no patriarchy in ritual or practice. They are centred on what makes women, women as in, what is their power, what are their needs and exploring their mysteries. They are not against men, but are against patriarchy.
