Where We Are

In the book “Bonsai Today”, you will have seen beautiful ramifications of the twigs and branches on the deciduous trees displayed.

Now is the perfect time to start achieving this goal.  The process is the “clip and grow” method which results in close internodes and small leaves.  If you are careful and pay attention to what your tree is doing, this can all be accomplished in one growing season, provided the tree is of sufficient maturity and the following method is used.

New Buds will shoot                                                When the buds turn

from the base of the                                                into twigs, remove growth after

stem of the remaining                                              the first two leaves form and

                                                                              & five unfold

IMPORTANT:

This process will happen very quickly and if you don’t watch your tree carefully, you will miss the bus.
