Experience the History Of Bluegrass with Bluegrass Parkway’s Thursday Evening “WSM GRAND OLE OPRY 1945”; hear CANADA’S No 1 Bluegrass Band, Hungry Hill,  The West Virginia Stringband; Pigeon Wing Strings from USA & Australia plus dozens of the best of the local bands from all over Australia! 

  And ... Harrietville is not just for sitting & listening. On Thursday Night in the Community Hall you get the chance to learn old time mountain square dances with a genuine old time stringband from West Virginia. Over the weekend there are singing and instrument workshops for all levels of expertise presented by some of the WORLD’S best Bluegrass & Old Time Musicians.

    Also ... no need to wander off for food, there is an inexpensive on site Restaurant—”THE HUB” , open from lunch till all hours, local fund raiser breakfast stand… If you haven’t been to Harrietville  before, you are in for a real musical treat at what is the longest running and most famous Bluegrass AND Old Time Country music event in the Southern Hemisphere……
