In meandering through this well-meaning and, well, country-tinged offering from the man in front of the Rainmakers, one encounters a ballad of ruefulness, a rocker about the big city, the tale of the clever man, and an uneasy storm warning. Music that progressively toughebns it's talons. It could be one side of an LP, but instead I have to change the bloody record three times. It would be more pleasant if it wasn't for that.
