What is Experimental Economics?

Experimental economics is an important and growing field in which the underlying principles of economics are explored under laboratory conditions.

Who can Participate in the Experiments?

Any student currently enrolled at the University can participate in this research. Registration is voluntary.

Who is Conducting the Research?

Researchers within the experimental economics research team use economic experiments as a tool to determine ways in which peoples' economic decision-making strategies vary in different situations.

Why is the Research Being Conducted?

The research is designed to examine how people react to various government policy options. Your decisions from the experimental sessions are recorded and used to compare sessions under alternative policy scenarios.
