Marbelup Valley Railway - Bogie Freight Wagons

This page will contain photos of each class of bogie freight wagon operating on the Marbelup Valley Railway. Only a few classes are shown at present - more will be added soon.

Gavin built most of this wagon, deciding to convert the Sn3 gondola kit to resemble the QV wheel carrying wagon. I finished it off, adding the scalloped wheel supports and etched brake gear parts. The wagon numbers are temporary stickers pending application of decalled numbers.

QV Wheel Wagon

The unusual Fox bogies and most of the detail parts are from etched brass. I did the artwork and Lynton Englund did the photo-etching. Two more RA's are under construction. The wagon numbers are temporary stickers pending application of decalled numbers.

RA Open Wagon

I made etched brake gear parts to complement Stuart's body kit. The bogies are American Models standard gauge bogies, fitted with narrower bolsters and 12 mm wheels.
