	Z9 Z9 is a unique guards van, the original of which was converted from a passenger coach. The model was built in 1981 from scribed card with balsa wood for the roof.
	Z9 Close up of the end of Z9. The wrought iron railings are made from brass strip, soldered together, each panel taking about 2 hours.
	X Class Loco The X class diesel had an unusual 2-Do-2 wheel arrangement, designed to achieve a light (8 ton) axle load for rural lines. Introduced in 1954, they rapidly replaced steam locos in inland parts of the WAGR system where water supplies were difficult. Lynton Englund built the model.
