Our most popular class. Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced levels for various age groups from 6 years plus. Each one & a half hour class offers:
DANCE:
For 45 minutes including warm up, flexibility, dance technique, combinations and a funky Choreographed dance routine each term.
SINGING:
Tuition for 45 minutes with a vocal warm-up scales, breathing technique, interpretation and song presentation.
The Perfect Blend. From 8yrs +
R&B / Soul combined with the best Funk Sounds to give you all the right moves for looking and feeling good on the dance floor. Sometimes described as, “Style” without the headstands and power moves. Energetic, funky, with warm-ups, flexibility, technique and choreography.
TAP DANCING:
For students from 6 years.
Classes are available for various levels, and age groups.
This dance form is excellent for improving rhythm and co-ordination as well as physical and mental agility, lots of fun and noise.
BALLET:
For students from 6 yrs.
Ballet is considered to be an essential part of any dancers training and brings additional grace, strength, technique, and poise to a dancer’s presentation.
This is recommended to anyone wishing to further their dance education, or for those who simply have a love of music & movement.
ACRO-CHEER: 7YRS +
Students work on flexibility and subtleness while learning a range of “tricks” which can be used in Cheer routines or included in jazz dance routines.
ACTING /WORKSHOPS: 8yrs +
These classes help to improve performance skills in Comic & Dramatic Acting. Classes cover Stage and T.V. / Screen Acting.
School holiday Theatre Workshops are sometimes available.
PERFORMANCE TROUPES:
In various age groups from 6 years plus. Students enrolled in the school can audition. Troupe membership involves an additional 2 hour class each week.
Notes:
All classes are taken by TERM - usually 10 weeks in line with state school terms.
