I spent the afternoon studying and on a second sitting improved my score up to 24/30 (80%). It was the same exam though, although there was a whole day in between sittings and I really only remembered the ones I got wrong. And some of the ones I got right the first time, I got wrong the second!! Lolol. Also I discovered in the back of my study guide another sample exam. So the plan of attack tomorrow is to do 4 practice problems from my book on areas I feel weak in. Then sit another practice exam. Then do 2 problems of remaining weak areas. Then do the real thing.

It's a really strange thing science (and I suspect languages are the same). I feel like I know nothing, until I look at some questions and it all comes to me. Same with languages. It all comes down to how much you use both. Anyone knows that if you go to a country for a year, you'll most likely come back fluent if you work hard enough, and that if you study for a year, you wont know as much because you'll have little practice. It's all very well for language learners...they have a whole country to go to and practice. I'm coming to the conclusion that maths and science geniuses are people who can practice for reason other than the sake of practice. No wonder women don't enter these fields - everything we do needs to have some kind of purpose!!! It makes me crazy just practicing!!
