coastalmanagement.com is a service provided by Coastal Zone Management Pty Ltd (Australia) to help coastal managers find resources to help do their job more effectively, and to keep them up to date on the latest trends in coastal management worldwide.

We started this website in April 1996 as the Coastal Zone Management Sourcepages when Robert used the Internet to research the first edition of his book (written with Jackie Alder) Coastal Planning and Management. He found that an increasing number of coastal management resources were becoming available on the internet, but were often difficult to find. So we created a site to help all coastal managers and others who have an interest in the coast. Our development of this site continues with focused research on the use of the Internet in coastal management.
