Welcome to our Digital Photographic Pages

These web pages have been designed to assist people who have or are just getting into digital photography.  Drawing on our own learning and practical experiences we hope to be able to guide you through the often difficult and technical aspects of digital photography.  We hope to make the digital experience a pleasure and not a chore by explaining the basics to get you producing good results quickly and easily.

We will explain how digital cameras work in simple terms and list the features you should consider and those you should ignore when buying a digital camera.  We hope to educate you before you hit the shops and get confused by all the jargon and get mislead by sales people who are not necessarily that well informed.

We have also put together a list of software we recommend as a minimum which will enable you to get the most from your photos.  The software recommended on these pages are software we use all the time and are the best value for money we have found.  Don't be put off by not finding the big-name software listed here, we do not believe in spending a fortune on software just to keep up with the 'Joneses'.

Our aim is to educate the layman, beginner, amateur and even the professional.  You can never stop learning and you will always find something new and exciting.  We wish you a great educational journey through these pages.
