To get a good understanding about OpTecs just go to the 3-minute tour page. You will find all the fundamentals without having to read pages of detailed information. That's the KISS principle - "Keep It Simple for Success"

For your present needs it doesn't need to be any more complicated than that. Of course there is more to learn, but that will come naturally in due course. I will help you get started with the first things you need to do and understand. They're easy when they are tackled in the right order.
Just remember that OpTecs is about web based voice and video products, and you will learn more as you begin using these services and products. As you become more skilled and more knowledgeable, so you will be able to help others achieve similar success. And that success will enable you to earn good money.

Recommendation
Have you ever told a friend about a book you could not put down, a movie you enjoyed, or a restaurant with the greatest food? And did your friends take your suggestion, tell their friends, who recommended their friends, etc. etc? Associate Members are those who have purchased the "Associate Package" (see 'membership')

Commissions
Commissions will be earned on the sale of membership packages, products and services. Many members (most) will want these products and services for faster Internet service, optimal voice and video quality, and for many other advantageous reasons. The OpTecs rewards plan offers:

100% of Commissionable Value returned to members.

Four separate income streams that sum to a monthly total.

Here is a simple explanation of the Compensation Plan
(Disclaimer: Some qualifiers and provisos are omitted or simplified here for simplicity sake- see the OpTecs web site for full details)

Sales to non-member customers.
Retail Sales Commissions and fast start bonuses are paid to OpTecs Associate and Business Members for the sale of products and services to non-member customers. (The full CV value applies - see explanation below)

Repeat orders and commissions
Because Commission cheques are paid monthly on the sales, re-orders and standing orders placed during the previous month, commissions follow monthly unless cancelled, based on the Commissionable Value applicable to that product or service.

Commission basis
Commissions are paid for the retail purchase of products and services based on the Commissionable Value (CV). CV is the difference between the selling price and the cost for OpTecs to produce the product or service. (The $10 monthly 'product support fee' counts as a product purchase for commission, but of course non-members do not order this.)

OpTecs member matrix
Each new Associate or Business member starts what is called a '3 x 10 matrix' (like the table below) into which their new members will be entered. Member positions fill from left to right with 3 on the first level, 9 on the second level, then 27, 81, 243 on level 5, and so on through to level 10. You will see that each level has 3 times more member positions than the previous level until the matrix is full at 10 levels. (Summed through all the levels, there are more than 88 000 members in a full matrix. Retail purchases made by these matrix (team) members form the basis for each individual member's sales commissions, and earning capacity therefore.)

Income streams
Aside from commissions for sales to non-member customers described above, the full CV for all retail sales of products and services is split and apportioned to 4 income streams (in the percentages shown) as follows:

Fast start bonus
2% of the CV (for all products or services) is assigned to pay fixed sum "fast-start" bonuses for specified products or services. For example, $20 is paid for the sale of a business package and $10 for the sale of a VoiceCafé product. (all $ figures are US dollars)

Level Commission.
75% of the CV is split across the 10 levels of the matrix. Accordingly the actual dollar sum for each sale differs according to product purchased, and to the nominated percentage applicable to the matrix level where that particular purchasing member resides. Members qualify as Bronze, Silver, and Gold, then progressing to 'Executive', and the matrix levels from which they are eligible to earn commissions grow according to their enhanced qualification. (see table below). Commissions earned from member purchases across all the applicable matrix levels are added together, and these are added to any 'fast-start' bonuses earned.

Leadership bonuses. (15%) Provided a member qualifies by having sold 3 business membership packages (i.e. Gold member) or more, they can earn even more income! Leadership bonuses work like this.
Every month, the OpTecs computer calculates which of the ten matrix levels earned most commission for a particular member. It then pays their sponsor member a bonus equal to the sum earned at that level, multiplied by a number ranging from 1 to 3. (The product of the multiplier and the CV % comes to 15 at every matrix level. Eg, 3 x 5 =15, 1.5 x10 = 15 - see table). Thus for example, a qualifying member who earns (say) $100 in one month at level 5 would result in a (3 x100 =) $300 bonus being paid to the sponsor member who sold the 'membership package' to that person initially. And this applies to the sale of every personal Associate or Business Membership package.

Executive Pool bonuses. (8%) This fourth income stream applies to Executive Members only, and is based on group volume, subject to particular qualifications.

A structured opportunity

Depending on the skill, time and effort Members are prepared to devote, OpTecs provides the opportunity to enjoy building a long-term and sustainable income from monthly commissions, or even to build a substantial full-time income over a period of time.

In addition to commissions attributable to non-member sales, a member's monthly income is the sum of the four (matrix based) income streams described above, as indicated on the right hand side of the table. Since the percentages allocated to each of these income streams add up to 100 %, you'll see that all profits are returned to the members.

Members can earn just rewards for their efforts, while Leaders and Executive Members are additionally rewarded for the effort they devote to assisting their team Members to build their individual businesses.

The OpTecs Business Opportunity is not a path to instant wealth. Success is highly dependent on Members devoting time and effort to finding and sponsoring their own Retail Customer base whilst also assisting their (downline) Team Members to develop their individual businesses. Summary
A member's monthly income is the total from these four income streams shown on the right hand side of the table above. Since the percentages allocated to each of these income streams add up to 100 %, you'll see that all profits are returned to the members. And again you will see that all commission payments are based on retail sales.
