Pyramid Scheme
Isn't this just another one of those pyramid schemes.
Absolutely not! OpTecs pays commissions for the sale of products and services only. A person who chooses to become a member will purchase an "Associate" or "Business' membership package, from which a commission is paid to the member credited with that sale.  All other commissions and bonuses are based wholly on retail sales.   No money is paid to anyone for recruiting people, which is illegal.

Products & service
How does MyCom differ from MiniCom?
MyCom is a voice cafe product that can be (partly) personalised only through a choice of pre-offered skins. MiniCom allows for your own personal banner and click through buttons linked to URL's of your choice.

Aside from that, how is the Minicom product different from VoiceCafé products?
Voice cafe products are 'server' based so access is simple, via the OpTecs server.
MiniCom is 'software' based so each user must have the software installed on their computer. That is why MiniCom can be personally branded and have personal click through buttons, but not the other VoiceCafe products.

What is the main difference between VoiceMaster products and TourMaster products?  
VoiceMaster is a voice communications tool, whereas TourMaster products add a visual component with video and whiteboard facilities. (Please see the individual descriptions elsewhere)

What is meant by "global roaming"? 
OpTecs members can choose whether to keep their ISP or use OpTecs instead. OpTecs have more that 4000 POP's in 10 countries with more to come, and give reliable, quality connection. So members who choose OpTecs ISP can dial in from any of these POPs for the price of a local call. With their OpTecs e-mail accounts and web pages they can access all their OpTecs requirements including e-mail and have full Internet access. Great service for those who travel frequently!

Cost
What does OpTecs membership cost?
The cost depends on which membership package you choose. Full membership has a once-only charge of US $115. - (about $230 Australian). But remember that initial and on-going costs must be seen as investment sums for which a return can be expected. So if you expect or would like to earn $5000 per month, then think of this as the cost of a cheap new suit for your executive $ 60 000 a year job. The initial cost therefore is hardly worth mentioning. And suppose that if your dial-up fee and monthly support fee amounts to say $20 more than you pay now, then you will only earn $4980 per month. So the choice is to pay what you do now and earn nothing, or pay a whisper more and have the opportunity to earn well.

Earning
How much can I earn?
It's your effort that determines whether you pay, or get paid. OpTecs first gives you the opportunity to choose, and second, creates incentives for you to earn more and more. It will take some time to create a worthwhile regular income however, just as it does in any new business venture. But the incentive structure clearly shows that those who put the most effort in will get the most out. And they should! Nothing's changed in that respect!

Okay, how much did you earn in your first month? 
To be honest, I do not know. I haven't collected it all yet. The work I did first, and the work I do now is the foundation of my business. So long as I work at it, it keeps on growing and it keeps on paying.

How much do you earn each month?
The amount I earn each month depends on how many products that members of my team order each month. Also, some members will up-grade the products they use while some may down-size according to their needs.  It varies a little from month to month, but goes up with time as I make new sales and teamwork grows my business.

Compensation plan. 
Can you describe the compensation plan very simply? 
Yes. There are 3 different memberships and 4 different income streams.

1. "Consumers" buy only what they need and do not earn commissions.
2. "Associate members" earn 'level' commissions through the matrix to level 4. (Income stream 2)
3. "Business members" earn 'level' commissions through the matrix to level 10. (Income stream 2 extended)

Other incentives and reward programs may be offered from time to time at the Company's absolute discretion. The remainder will be explained during training. Please also refer to the "Member Package' page

Bonuses
Can you explain these bonuses a little more?

1. A fast start bonus (specified sum) is paid for the sale of a "Business Package" and VoiceCafe products.
2. Leadership bonuses are paid to those having sold 3 business packages. (The rate is formulated)
3. Executive Group bonuses may/are paid to those having sold 5 business packages, subject to certain specified qualifications and formulations.

All these are carefully explained during training.

Are there any other incentives?
Yes, OpTecs is built around incentives. From the beginning there is merit in using OpTecs communication products. One look at the price table will show that members purchase these products at reduced prices. They can also earn money from selling them so it is advantageous to become a member. From then on there are incentives at every step, through different membership attainment's with increased bonuses, right through to executive level and share ownership. This forms a sound and ethical basis for serious participation, strong teamwork and long term residual income.
