Good weather for fungi!

The good rains we have had so far this winter have prompted many fungi to emerge. After our recent committee meeting we found so many fungi along the track between the gate and the shed that we didn't get any further!

Committee Meeting

Our most recent committee meeting was held on Sunday 5th July (John, Phil, Dorothy, Roz, Vicki, Dani). At this meeting we discussed:
  • control of Black Flag - we still don't really know how to control it - but it is spreading - so Vicki is getting contractors to spray with Dalapon.
  • Animal scratchings in the bushland - could it be the Southern Bandicoot? Need to contact the WA Museum to see if we can get some trapping done.
  • Mapping of bushland weeds - we need help with weed mapping this spring - might see if we can get university students to do it as a project.
  • Next meeting - September (after the BtB walk)
Contact Dani (9381 3470 or Dani's email for details.
