- Improving your painting techniques
- Improving your painting composition and understanding how to make the painting more valuable by taking care in working out the best possible composition
- Improving skills in mixing beautiful colours
- Understanding better how colours work and how this understanding can help make better paintings
- Learn techniques that help with loading your brush and controlling paint consistency
- Learn many different painting techniques and effects, including impasto (thick paint) and glazing (thin transparent layers of paint)
- Learn about using different bases for your paintings and using different colour grounds
- Learn the difference between good and poor quality brushes and materials
- You will study the works of good Aboriginal artists to learn more about the history of Aboriginal art and also learn more about current artists who are being shown in the better galleries across Australia

- You will have a public exhibition at Kidogo Arthouse Gallery in 2009.

- Money matters: How to handle your sales, keep receipts and get tax deductions on your art sales.


By the end of this course all students who complete the course are guaranteed to be able to attract better prices for their artwork and should be able to sell more work than they have before, keeping more money from the sale of their art.
