Welcome to our Practice

Dr John Winters specialises in paediatric dentistry -- a specialty dedicated to treating children from birth through the teenage years.
GroupOfKids

No child is "too young" to visit the dentist. Your child should have his or her first dental visit no later than six months after the first teeth grow into their mouth. The Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry recommends that children have their first dental check up at around 12 months of age.

At our practice, children are our principal focus. Every aspect of our practice has been designed to help make children comfortable. Our goals are to provide your child with a safe and caring environment, and to meet your child's individual needs. When you come to see Dr Winters, he will personally carry out treatment, not delegate to an auxiliary. Dr Winters also sees adult patients who have intellectual or physical disabilities that are a barrier to accessing general dental services.

Because we are treating dentistry's most special patients, your children, we have invested in the latest, most up-to-date dental technology. We pay extra special attention to sterilisation and infection control, we use dose minimising technology for x-rays, and we avoid the use of mercury containing amalgam fillings.
