Another family of KITTOs to settle in Australia was James and Richard of Germoe

James was the son of Thomas KITTO and Sarah (Sally) nee KITTO of Breage/Germoe in Cornwall, one of their family of ten children. James KITTO married in 1843 in Phillack, Cornwall to Caroline PARSONS and they had a family of six children in Germoe, Cornwall. James arrived in 1858 to Victoria on the "Countess of Elgin". His wife Caroline died in Germoe in 1864 so the family of three daughters and a son travelled alone on the "Sir Robert Sale" in 1868. James remarried in 1868 in Eaglehawk, Victoria to Catherine BASSETT.
